Happy New Year, finally....

Well, I noticed my last blog was about 6 months ago. Since then, I have done over 25 weddings. I've noticed the importance of social media for business and decided maybe I would try a little harder to keep up with this whole blog world. I have started Twitter, and I've noticed a significant boost in hits on my site.

I still wonder....is anyone like potential clients looking at this, or is it just other like business owners and bloggers?

I'm very excited and made a decision to become a preferred vendor of the very popular Wedding Chicks Family. I am huge fan of Amy, and look forward to being a part of her success.

Eventhough its the end of January, Happy New Year and looking forward to taking you on my journey this year.

My next post I will highlight some faves from my 2009 weddings.

My first offical bit of media!

I've always dreamed of having my work published in a magazine.  Someday it will happen, but until then the web, blogs and virtual magazines are popping up all over the place, and a wedding I did the flowers for has published me online!  I am honored to have taken part in this wonderful wedding of Michelle and Eric last summer at The Villa in San Juan Capistrano.

Oh my goodness! Catching up...

Oh my goodness, have I been a bad blogger.  I really want to do better and I will try to at least blog once a week.  Since my last blog, I have done 5 weddings!  Yes, I have been busy and loving every minute of it.  I'm also happy to announce that I have a new consultation suite!  I will post pictures next week, it should be completed by then.

In the mean time here are a few photos from my last couple of weddings.  Enjoy!

This is Kari, isn't she a doll!  She got married to Nolan on Valentines Day of this year.  They had a beautiful wedding at the SJC Basillica and reception at Dove Canyon Country Club.

Angie's wedding was at Cannon's in Dana Point.  I had a great time with this wedding.  Hopefully Angie will be working with Floral Occasions.  She has a great sense of style and who wouldn't want a recent bride on their team.  

Last is Tawnya's wedding at Franciscan Gardens.  What a sweet girl!  She was the winner of my free bridal bouquet from a bridal show I did last year in May.

First blog entry.

I don't have much experience with blogging and I am looking forward to becoming very good at it!  Thank you for visiting my blog and I hope you will check it out every once and a while to see what is up with me & Floral Occasions, the wonderful people I encounter and the floral designs we create.  We are halfway thru February and so far this year we have done two weddings.  Here are a few photos of the bouquets and a very cool boutonniere from the January wedding at Hush in Laguna Beach.  I am still waiting for photos from the professionals, these are a few from my camera.
