Completely Smitten! We Love The Rustic Elegance, Garden Roses, and Dahlias

The perfect summer day, a beachy venue, a stunning bride and groom, blush peachy florals---what more could you ask for? Top off all that goodness with a great team of vendors and you've got pure magic! Mint, Gold, and Touches of Pink: Totally Romantic and Chic

It's amazing to see a wedding unfold over the course of planning. We get to meet the bride at the very beginning, when all their ideas seem overwhelming and their Pinterest boards are crowded with inspiration. We get to help brides through the thick of it---narrowing down their palette and consolidating all their dreams into a vision. And or course, we see them at the end of the journey, ALWAYS looking gorgeous and happy.

Working with Kelly was absolutely a fun journey because we started at the very very beginning. I remember sending color palette ideas back and forth. She loved color! Pinks, raspberry, rich purples, fuschia---but wasn't sure if she wanted all those colors together. She wanted mint because a lovely family member had created mugs filled with coffee beans for favors (and those had mint tones). Gold accents were also on our list, and they totally added a touch of glam to this design. LOVE! I hope you enjoy seeing this beautiful wedding come together as much as we did.

Industrial, Quirky, and Fun Wedding Inspiration

We've been lucky enough to visit to some new industrial-style venues in the last few months---and we are in love and inspired! These venues tend have the coolest quirks that would inspire any designer's imagination. Can you guess what inspired this whole board? That awesome Pepsi lighting fixture!

Boho-Chic Inspired Wedding

The moment we met Paige, we loved her style. We called it "Free People" inspired. We're talking lace embellishments, organic-inspired materials, and very casual--yet elegant and chic. The process of creating this wedding was also a blast! We loved the wood and tin plant boxes mixed with tin cans (covered in lace). The whole wedding had a casual and fun vibe with the perfect mix of a black tie event.

For the flowers, we used a lot of succulents, grasses, airplants, and other earthy elements. Green and brown bottles helped to enhance the organic color scheme. Most bridal bouquets have lots of flowers, but Paige wanted something with grasses, pods, airplants, and almost NO flowers. It was truly beautiful, and an honor to be part of a wedding that was different from anything else we have ever seen.

The bride surprised the mothers with fresh flower bracelets. We think these are a great alternative to corsages, so we teamed up with Wedding Chicks to create this DIY.
