Emerald and Apricot Inspiration

The minute Pantone announced Emerald as 2013 Color of the Year, we couldn't stop thinking of the amazing possibilities this lovely jewel-tone could bring to weddings. We also love that Emerald tones can foster feelings of well-being, optimism, and calm. So how can brides start to bring a little of this lovely hue into their weddings?

Statement Necklaces: think vintage pieces or maybe a family heirloom. Such unique finds can be great inspiration for all parts of your wedding--from invitations to your centerpieces.

Florals: Talk to your florist about incorporating deep green foliage like Magnolia leaves, lemon leaf, or ferns. Those kinds of leaves will help create the perfect backdrop to any color scheme. We particularly love the idea of orange hues or purples.

The Ring: It's becoming more and more popular for couples to choose rings that don't contain diamonds--and why not? We've seen so many Emerald or Sapphire rings that have been custom designed and are absolutely breathtaking!

Furniture: Can you imagine a luxurious emerald chaise lounge or a perfectly aged emerald-print armoire? Such amazing pieces of furniture can be used to enhance the vibe of your wedding and are sure to catch your guests attention.

What do you think of Emerald as Color of the Year? Would you consider using it to inspire your wedding? We'd love to hear from you--here's to spreading floral love!

Sweet Sunflower Wedding with French Flair

Let us tell you how much we loved this wedding. Not only did we get to work with Troy Grover Photography, but our bride was a super-stylish interior designer! Put those two together with the glowing beauty of sunflowers, soft ivory colors, and burlap details, and you've got one gorgeous wedding. In fact, this wedding was featured by Elizabeth Anne Designs a little over a month ago. Click here to see that feature.

We loved Laurie's vision--a relaxed, yet elegant wedding with a little French-flair. As you scroll through this blog, we're sure you'll feel like you stepped into a little French bistro in the countryside. Cheers to spreading floral love!

Ooh la la, yes? Congrats to Laurie and Michael!

It's all in the details of this Villa stunner.

If you love beautiful film photography, then you're in for a treat!  Brian and Shannon chose their wedding vendors very carefully and their smartest decision (besides hiring us ;) was to hire Lane Ditto.  We love working with Lane, he makes everything look perfect!  And you're about to see all the beautiful details of this stunning September wedding at our favorite spot down the street, The Villa.

Amazing, right?  We loved all the details and working with Shannon and Brian!  They were a fun and very sweet couple.  We wish them all the best.  We definitely spread some floral love on this one!  Look for a new blog post next Wednesday.
